It's a new year and another season full of anime to check out Titan, Action, Vampire, Mysteries, and Giant Mushrooms are just some of what you can expect this winter anime season. Now of course there are continuing anime that carried over from last season like Ranking of kings or Demon slayer entertainment district arc but we'll only be listing new and returning anime here.
Here are some of our top selections, along with the whole list of new anime for the winter season of 2022.
Attack On Titan Part 2
Attack on Titan is finally back since getting a surprise part two announcement in March of last year. Now you probably knew this already since the premiere of part two crashed the Crunchyroll site due to the sheer high traffic volume of people coming through. Attack on Titan final season part two is now available on Funimation, Crunchyroll, Verve and Hulu.

How a Realist Hero Rebuilt The Kingdom
Another returning anime is How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom with part two of their season. Now this series follows a student who was summoned into another world to save a kingdom as he begins to set plans to do so he becomes the king almost immediately. It's a different take compared to all the action-oriented Isakai we're used to How a realist hero rebuilt the kingdom is available on Funimation and Hulu.
The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest
Speaking of Isekai, we have another one this season called 'The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest,' which follows a powerful sage who causes his own reincarnation in order to become even stronger. Thousands of years later the Sage is reborn and learns that the current world's skill of magic has grown weaker, unlike most popular Isakai where the protagonists are teleported from the modern world to a fantasy world. This series takes place in the future The strongest sage with the weakest rest is available on Crunchyroll and Verve.
My Dress-up Darling
If you like slice-of-life stories with a romantic touch, this is the anime for you. This winter, you should watch My Dress-up Darling. The series follows a young doll-obsessed student who finds friendship in another classmate who appreciates his art and skill at making clothes. Expect tons of shenanigans between the solitary student and the popular social otaku as the season goes on. Not to mention that this series is produced by Cloverworks, so you can expect high-quality animation. On Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Verve, you may watch 'My dress-up darling.'

Akebi's Sailor Uniform

'Akebi's Sailor Uniform' is another absolutely stunning Slice of Life animation this season. This series follows Akebi a young girl that dreams of wearing a school sailor uniform now she finds out that her new school doesn't use those uniforms anymore but is allowed to wear them anyway. Clover works is the animation studio behind Akebi sailor uniform so we can expect some amazing visuals. Akebi sailor uniform is available on Funimation, Crunchyroll and Verve.
Sabiku Bisco
Tokyo 24th Ward
Cloverworks published the anime series 'Tokyo 24th Ward'. This season Clover works have been really busy with this being the third anime we've mentioned thus far though the series gives off some major minority report vibes with our protagonists working together. To prevent a future disaster now it'll be interesting to see how this season unfolds. Tokyo 24th ward is available in Funimation Crunchyroll and Verve.
Teasing Master Takagi-san
Season 3 of 'Teasing Master Takagi-san,' a benign anime about young love, has been released this winter season. Now the anime mainly focuses on the two main characters but we're also treated to the reactions of the people around them. The Orbital Children
This winter, a new anime 'The Orbital Children' will be launched. The director behind the orbital children has worked on animation for the End of Evangelion and Ghost in the shell movies. Based on what we've seen from the promotional trailers this anime movie looks like it'll deliver some stunning visuals. The Orbital children premiered on January 28th on Netflix.
